The Challenge with Photographing a Smaller Commercial Interior
The challenge of photographing a smaller space makes it very enjoyable. It encourages you to spend more time seeking out key compositions. One recent photoshoot was for Europa Capital and their newly-designed space within the mixed-use development on Eton Street, Richmond. The building was designed and built by London-based Dickson Architects and the fit-out was completed by Oktra. The premium interior incorporates modern design trends with a soft, almost residential aesthetic throughout the double-height reception area. It’s possible to create a full overview of the space in just a handful of images. The challenge is to find those shots.
